A few things worth knowing.
No hidden meanings. No secret relationship scores. Here is how the site actually works.
1. Is Lovtester a real measure of love or compatibility?
No. All results are for fun only. A name game transforms text; a quiz summarizes selected answers; a planner arranges dates or activity ideas. None is evidence of love, compatibility or relationship quality, and none is psychological or relationship advice.
2. Do I need an account, payment or email address?
No. All six tools work without sign-up, payment or an email gate. Enter only the inputs needed by the tool. Nicknames and fictional names are welcome. You can read the method and limits before using it.
3. Are our names and answers stored?
The plugin does not transmit tool fields, write them to the WordPress database, use browser storage or create a shareable result URL. Values exist in the open page’s memory while you use it. Reset clears them. Your browser may retain page state or autofill independently, and downloaded files are saved on your device.
4. What does the Love Percentage Calculator actually calculate?
It normalizes and sorts two names, processes their Unicode code points with a documented rolling hash and takes the remainder modulo 101. The result is an arbitrary 0–100 percentage. Consistency makes it repeatable, not scientifically meaningful.
5. Why do the two name tools give different results?
They deliberately use different games. The percentage tool uses a text hash; the name checker divides shared distinct letters and digits by their combined set. Neither is a relationship judgment. Spelling and accents can change a score without changing anything about the people.
6. What does the couple quiz percentage mean?
It summarizes the gaps between six pairs of 1–5 preference selections, all equally weighted. Identical answers give 100% answer similarity. Opposite ends throughout give 0%. It does not establish whether a couple is right for one another. There is no pass or fail.
7. Is the Love Language Quiz an official assessment?
No. It uses ten original prompts and five informal gesture categories. Two ratings per category are added; ties are shown, and all zeros gives no leading category. It is not an official, licensed or validated personality or psychological test.
8. Does the date planner show live options or exact prices?
No. It filters a built-in activity list by your selected time, maximum spending tier, setting and energy. It does not use your location or fetch prices, bookings, weather, opening hours or access information. Check practical details and suitability yourself.
9. How does the anniversary planner handle leap years?
Calendar-day differences use UTC to avoid daylight-saving shifts. Annual February 29 anniversaries fall on February 28 in non-leap years and February 29 in leap years. Numbered milestones add exactly 100, 365 or 1,000 days, so a 365-day milestone can differ from an anniversary.
10. Can I print, download or share a result?
After generating a result, use Print / Save PDF to open your browser’s print dialog, or Download text for a plain-text file. The anniversary planner also exports one .ics event. No automatic sharing occurs. Saved files can contain names or answers; remove anything you do not want to keep and get permission before sharing another person’s information.
11. What happens to blank fields or HTML-like text?
Blank optional fields are omitted from the output and downloads. Required fields must be completed. Entered text is inserted as literal text, never interpreted as HTML. Names containing angle brackets may therefore display those brackets instead of creating elements or running code.
12. Does the site use cookies, ads or analytics?
The Lovtester plugin sets no cookies and loads no analytics, ad networks or third-party fonts. WordPress login, the host or other installed plugins can behave differently. The live site owner should review those services and update the Cookie Notice if they are added.
13. Will a downloaded calendar file send reminders?
The website sends no notifications and connects to no calendar account. If you select a reminder, the .ics file includes it, but your calendar app must import and honor it. The export is one all-day anniversary event, not a recurring subscription. Verify the imported entry.
14. Can I use the tools on a phone or without JavaScript?
The layout adapts to small screens and supports keyboard operation. Calculations need JavaScript so they can run locally; static explanations remain readable without it. Printing, PDF saving and file handling depend on your browser and device. Use the Contact page to report an accessibility barrier.
15. Can I get relationship advice or retrieve an old result?
No. Lovtester is not a professional advice service and has no server-side archive of tool results. Use a file you deliberately saved or generate a fresh result. A saved result should never be treated as evidence or a basis for important relationship decisions.
